In 2024, Taipei marks the 140th anniversary of its founding. As the city continues to evolve, we began to ask: what voices and crafts, quietly fading, still deserve to be remembered? From this question, the program Craftsmen of Taipei was born. Through sound, it seeks to preserve the vanishing cultural industries and the enduring spirit of artisans on Taipei’s streets, offering listeners a glimpse into the city’s hidden heritage and living traditions.
