The intertextuality between Eastern and Western music traditions
The role of music in times of war, displacement, and social transformation
The emotional and political power of music as a tool for peace, memory, and resistance
Each episode is crafted as a standalone documentary, using a mobile studio approach to conduct interviews in diverse environments. The program incorporates eyewitness accounts, primary sources, and rare archival materials, offering a layered and investigative narrative structure.
