Content: "I always endeavor to do more for female composers" has always been my ambition. From long-term organizing and producing concerts for female composers, to actively participating in the annual conference “International rostrum of composers” (IRC) is held by International Music Council (IMC, affiliated with UNESCO). I always hope to do my best to promote every excellent female composers’ work internationally. December 1st is the “National Women Support Women Day”, so a special unit will be produced and broadcast in the last 15 minutes of program on November 26th 2023. In here, we continue to pass on the holy fire of art. Let us depart from Taiwan and based in Taipei, and expand us to the whole world internationally. Feminism, a term that has been lingering for more than two hundred years, sprouted from the Enlightenment Era in the 18th century and has now become a collective term for female trends of thought. As National Women Support Women Day is coming soon, in program, we have 11 noted female composers who have high reputation for many years and made extraordinary achievements. I sincerely thank them for their contribution to music. During the program, we will hear brief sharings from 11 female composers, how they became composers, how they overcame every obstacles, and found their own compositional way, along with talking about other insights for female composers I sincerely hope that every female friend can live with her own life, and be able to support everyone around her, strive to pursue dreams, and support other’s dreams, so that her own soul can be complete.
